CNBC’s sister YouTube channel “Make It” is a digital first outlet that takes CNBC’s general mission but refines it to appeal on a more personal level. I’ve edited videos for almost all of Make It’s flagship series including Millennial Money, Unlocked, Relocated, How I Made It, and others.

Working with the Make It team has really taught me how to find compelling ways to tell every person’s story. Most of the producing is done remotely through a thorough vetting process, comprehensive brief, detailed shotlist, and extensive interview. While my primary title is editor it’s been highly beneficial for me as a producer to work on these teams. 

It’s my job to bring it all together, making sure the intro sings, we’re hooking a viewer as best we can, and that the rest of the story moves smoothly, brand-aligned and tonally sound. Of course the amazing footage from incredible ops all over the world should get most of the credit ;)

I’ve also edited two entire classes for “CNBC Make It: Smarter.”
